Gas Inspection

• Perform visual inspection of all exposed gas piping from the point of entry into the building, including building gas meters, up to but not including tenant spaces for excessive atmospheric corrosion, illegal connections, and non-code compliant installations
• Perform gas leak test of all visible piping in public areas, corridors, hallways, mechanical rooms, and boiler rooms using a New York state approved portable combustible gas detector.
• Provide to client a Gas Piping System Periodic Inspection Report on the required Dept of Buildings GPS1 & GPS2 form.
• File as owner’s representative with Dept of Buildings, the Gas Piping System Periodic Inspection Certification using the required GPS2 DOB portal
